According to Spanish newspaper outlet Mundo Deportivo, Premier League club, West Ham United have begun talks and are ready to go all out to secure the signing of Barcelona defender Junior Firpo. The Hammers were said to be interested in the young defender even before the Winter transfer window opened but it's looking like they are intensifying their interest and want to pick up from where they left off.

They have now followed up by initiating talks with the 24-year-old who has been seen as a perfect buyable player in this window to provide squad depth and strength. West Ham coach David Moyes has given his defender Aaron Cresswell a new role in the team by slotting him into a three-man central defence system while also losing Arthur Masuaku to a long-term injury.


Steven Gerrard and Neil Lennon want to sign Manchester United player Jesse Lingard, per reports. The report claims that both the Rangers and Celtic managers want to add Lingard to their squads when the January transfer window opens for business next month.
