According to MARCA, Real Madrid have gained an advantage over the likes of Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign Brazilian sensation Endrick. The 16-year-old Palmeiras wonderkid is one of the most sought-after young players currently, even though he cannot arrive in Europe for two more years. Despite that, a whole host of clubs are lining up to sign him at the earliest possible.

Barcelona have held a strong interest in Endrick ever since he burst onto the scenes at the Copinha tournament earlier this year. The Blaugrana also made their first move recently, when they met his entourage to firm up their interest in the 16-year-old.

Andres Iniesta is a product of the famed La Masia Academy at the club. He started his career at the club before making his first-team bow. The Spaniard would later attain legendary status at the club before his exit in 2018. He played 674 games for Barcelona during his time in the first-team winning a lot of titles including four Champions League titles. Iniesta was part of the Barcelona team that came from behind to beat 10-man Arsenal 2-1 during the 2006 Champions League final in Paris for his first Champions League title. He won his second and third Champions League titles as part of the Barcelona team that won two Champions League titles in three seasons under Pep Guardiola.
