The Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has said that he is extremely confident that the former Barcelona manager Guardiola will be a major success Bayern Munich. The 42-year-old was recently announced as the next Bayern Munich manager after the German team managed to pip the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City for one of the highly talented managers in the world.

Guardiola has been also one of the most successful in the last four years, as he has been able to lift 14 different titles with Barcelona in just four seasons. He will be hoping to replicate the same success at the Allianz Arena as well, and Iniesta is confident that he will be able to do the same.

Guardiola has signed a three-year contract with Bayern Munich that will start from this season. Iniesta has said that due to the fact that Bayern Munich have a similar philosophy to that of Barcelona, it will be easy for Guardiola to achieve success. Guardiola managed to turn Barcelona into one of the most successful teams by employing a passing style of football, while also giving importance to the players from the youth academy. During his regime, Guardiola managed to bring through several players like Sergio Busquets.

"The philosophy at Bayern is very similar to ours. They want much ball possession and the quality of their players is also very high. It will not be difficult for him to succeed. I have no doubt that he will succeed," said Iniesta, who recently came close to winning the FIFA Ballon d’Or award for the first time in his career. However, he was beaten by his teammate Lionel Messi, who won the award for the fourth consecutive season.
